Course Description
This course provides the ISO 18436-2 Category I coursework training towards certification.
Students will explore the benefits of performing condition monitoring and improving reliability, learn how machines work, and discover how vibration measurements assess the condition of the machine. The course will cover Fmax, resolution, averaging and other analyzer settings, as well as analysis of vibration spectra and the basics of fault diagnosis. Setting alarm limits will be introduced.

Day 4:
What is resonance
- Diagnosing common fault conditions
- Setting alarm limits
- Exam (60 multiple-choice questions in 2 hours)
