Who should attend
This course is intended for System 1™ users, engineers, analysts, and technical personnel who need to configure and deploy Decision Support rules. It is especially relevant for those responsible for condition monitoring, machinery diagnostics, alarm logic, or developing automated decision-support capabilities within System 1™.
Objectives
- Explain the value that Decision Support adds for customers using System 1™.
- Establish a connection between the Decision Support Server (DSS) and S1 database.
- Create a temperature offset custom rule using the DS workspace, input steps, logic steps, and result steps.
- Create a timer and counter custom rule using the DS workspace, input steps, logic steps, and result steps.
- Successfully deploy DS rules to a System 1™ database.
- Map points to a DS rule.
- Create and deploy a rule that can determine the min, max and avg for three temperature sensors.
- Create and deploy rules that use intermediate values.
- In deploy mode, list all deployed rules from a database.
- Change the settings of a deployed rule.
- Create a file library, copy a rule into it, and export a rule library.
- Apply a software setpoint to a rule result in System 1™
- Familiarity with System 1™
- Offline- Customer provides their own S1 Instance and Decision Support instance to complete workshops w/o simulation
- Hybrid- BentlyConnect VMs provided upon request, complete workshops and submit workshop assignments into Bently Nevada™ training for course credits
